How are we delivering trust and interoperability for Smart Data in the property market?
By creating the data standards, governance rules, role profiles, technical trust interfaces, consent and liability models, provenance, and security criteria that will make our property data safe and secure to access and share.
Who is doing this? The whole of the property market – regulators, government, trade bodies, consumer groups, and the custodians of our property data. Our Smart Property Data Trust Framework sandbox is funded for 12 months by the Department for Science, Innovation and Technology’s Regulators’ Pioneer Fund and the sandbox is provided by Raidiam.
The project is managed by Council for Licensed Conveyancers – regulating property and probate lawyers and Open Property Data Association.
The steering group is chaired by Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government and OPDA chair Maria Harris and supported by Digital Property Market Steering Group (DPMSG) member organisations.
Not theory, not talking shops, not words on a page – this is a real, live, working sandbox with our member industry firms creating and testing the framework that will underpin the future of Smart Property Data.
